The Al Maha Desert Resort and Spa lies in 225 square kilometres of desert landscape and just 45 minutes from the cosmopolitan city of Dubai with it's wonderful beaches and new boutiques.
The dining experience will leave you spoilt for choice at Al Maha with the main Diwaan restaurant serving a five course table d'hote menu specialising in Middle Eastern and international cuisine. The traditionally designed Bedouin encampment for Dune Dinners serving a feast of traditional dishes; mezze and Saloona Samak (traditional seafood soup) as well as cooking over charcoal fires.
The more active traveller can try their hand at the traditional desert pursuits on offer - falconry, camel treks, horse riding, archery or a four wheeled-drive safari. There's also a swimming pool, gymnasium and the Timeless Spa for a spot of pampering.
Luxury accommodation is in either Bedouin, Royal or Emirate Suites - each carefully designed and beautifully furnished and with it's own private swimming pool surrounded by a wooden deck. The Emirate Suite even has residentsquarters for private staff!
